Felipe Aguilar speaks with Courtney Laverty Chief Executive Officer, of “THRU Project” in San Antonio about barriers that young adults that are getting ready to age out, or have aged out, of the Texas foster care system face. She describes how programs including Next Step Housing and Supervised Independent Living help young adults in the transition out of the foster care system.
