Jeanice Lee talks to Fred Stover, President of Overflow Farms. Stover shares the story of how the non-profit was started and how many pounds of fresh produce they grow and share with the community each year. He talks about the pandemic and how that changed the trajectory on how they serve the community and how it created new partnerships. Stover talks about their 3-acre community organic farm. They provide food to local food banks, soup kitchens, churches, and other non-profits in the community. They host many free community events; they offer field trips and volunteers are welcome.
