Jeanice Lee talks to Kerri Fox, Executive Director/CEO of Resounding Joy. Resounding Joy became a non-profit because the founder discovered that people and organizations could not afford music therapy sessions. Fox says they offer a wide spectrum of clinical music therapy and community wellness programming which helps people address different issues they may be facing physical or mental. Music therapists provide sessions to individuals, groups, hospitals, schools, social service orgs, various facilities and within homes. Their largest program targets military/vets who deal with PTSD, transitioning into civilian life etc. Fox says their music therapist are high qualified musicians who are board certified.
