Tanya Bohannon talks with Julie Purcell, Executive Director of Lazarus House. The Lazarus House serves the Kane County area in Illinois, aiding with homelessness and food insecurity. Purcell takes a deeper look into how mental illness plays a role in homelessness and shares how they partner with organizations to meet the community’s needs. She also shares a story of someone who’s life was impacted by the Lazarus House and how other’s lives are changed when the community comes together to support one another.
