Jeanice Lee talks to Monica Dodge, Executive Director of Horses of Hope Oregon. Dodge describes what equine assisted therapy is and how their programs help build muscle strength, balance, coordination brain activity and flexibility. Dodge says they serve people 2 – 84 yrs old who face physical, cognitive, emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Dodge says their team works with people to determine what type of sessions will best meet their needs and achieve goals.
