Jeanice Lee talks to Kelcie Parra, Executive Director of Crisis House. Parra shares how they respond immediately to people to who need support, connect them resources to help renew their life to give them hope and purpose. Parra says they help break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness by working with other orgs to help people get the support they need. Parra describes their Camp Hope for kids who have witnessed DV. Parra says their case managers work with people to help provide the best services and to give the best care including creating a safe escape plan for someone experiencing DV.
