Jeanice Lee talks to Sergio Garcia, Education Program Coordinator of Bike Ventura County which is a non-profit bicycle advocacy program. The Ventura Bike HUB is a “do it together” community bike shop and resource space where people can work on their bikes using their tools and help. Garcia says bicycles are a great form of transportation, environmentally friendly and helps people save money. They offer classes for adults, workshops, and they have partnerships with schools and other orgs to improve current infrastructure to make Ventura County a safe and more enjoyable community to bicycle.
