Tanya Bohannon talks with Jeremy Kranowitz, President and CEO of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, about the Indianapolis environment and what the organization is doing to help keep the area clean. Kranowitz details how research has been found, combined with Police data, that when an area is beautified violent crime goes down. A surprising fact is discovered when Kranowitz shares that when trees are planted, flooding will decrease and multiple health benefits are obtained.
