Lexy Smith speaks with Lee Franklin, Community Relations Manager for the Phoenix Public Library serving Maricopa County celebrating its 125th anniversary. Franklin shares how the Phoenix Public Library was born in the 1800’s by a group of women that got an official Carnegie Library for the area. Franklin talks about the unique items you can check out that go beyond books such as, Wi-Fi hotspots. Franklin discusses how kids can participate in the “Sit, Stay Read” program with service dogs.
