Jeanice Lee talks to Shakoya Green Long, CEO of Thomas House Family Shelter. They provide support to unhoused families with children to keep them together. They provide skills to adults to help them be self-sufficient and independent. Their 20 until fully furnished transitional shelter and supportive services offers counseling, career development, case management, and budgeting. Their homeless prevention program provides supportive services, food, career development and more. There are youth development programs to help kids increase their reading, academic skills, while providing teen case management, career exploration, college prep and more.
