Jason Craig speaks with David Whately, founder of Water Springs Ranch in Texarkana, AR. He founded the organization along with his wife, Carla Whately, in 1989 with a mission to provide healing through God for children who have been abused and neglected. Whately gives us insight into their nine homes and 120 acres of land, which includes a school, counseling services, and extracurricular activities for children. He shares his proudest moments of children graduating and going to college. Whately discusses how the community can get involved through volunteering, what the future holds, and what 35 years has taught him (waterspringsranch.org).
