Jeanice Lee talks to Dr. Karolyn Verville, President/Founder of Sunshine Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation. Dr. Verville describes how they rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife. She says they rescue 2,000 animals per yr and 214 different species. They take in all species such as reptiles, mammals and birds. Dr. Verville says they conduct zoonotic disease testing, wildlife investigation research, and they offer law enforcement agency-assist services all while educating and helping the public about wildlife.
