Jeanice Lee talks to Elena Brokaw, Executive Director of Museum of Ventura County. Brokaw shares the neat story about how the museum started. The museum has three sites - the main museum, Museum of Ventura County is in the historic district of Ventura and features art, historical, and cultural exhibitions and it includes their research library. The other two include an archaeological museum (Albinger Archaeological Museum) in downtown Ventura and a museum in Santa Paula which is their Agriculture Museum. Brokaw says they are an arts, history, and cultural museum that offers many collections and exhibits. Tours, volunteer opportunities, and paid internships to students offered. (VenturaMuseum.org)
