Just months after earning three nominations – and taking home an honor for Worship Song of the Year – at her first K-LOVE Fan Awards appearance, Katy Nichole is making history again.
Less than a year has passed following the release of her record-breaking debut single, “In Jesus Name (God Of Possible),” and the 22-year-old singer/songwriter has now received her first American Music Award nomination for Favorite Inspirational Artist.
“This is unreal,” Nichole said in an Instagram post. “What an honor to be nominated for the AMAs. I am so incredibly grateful and never could’ve imagined this in my wildest dreams.”
After her aforementioned debut hit went to No. 1 on the Billboard charts, her second offering – “God Is In This Story” featuring Big Daddy Weave – has also reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart.
“I just want people to be reminded that our story is important, and I will continue to tell my story and my hope is that those stories will resonate, and it will feel like your story through my story."
