Bilingual artist Sarai Rivera enlists award winner Tauren Wells for her original song, “I Give You My Dreams.” The prayerful single was penned solely by Rivera and has been recorded in a beautiful blend of Spanish and English, as well as English alone, the latter of which is currently playing on Air1. Together with Wells, Rivera delivers a passionate performance expressing genuine surrender to God, acknowledging that His ways are always better than anything we could ever hope for or dream up.
The lyrics submit to the truth uncovered in the familiar verse found in Jeremiah 29:11: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”
“There is no doubt that when you let go of your dreams, God surpasses them! By handing over all control to Him, He takes us beyond what we ever imagined,” Rivera offers of the message behind the song, adding, “It has been a true honor to collaborate with Tauren Wells on this project. Not only is he an incredible talent and inspiration, but also a great man of God and passionate about expanding God’s Kingdom.”
In turn, Wells shares, “I became aware of Sarai Rivera a few years ago and became a fan of her heart for God, talent and boldness! She has an obvious call on her life, and it’s an honor to be a part of this new release.”
In addition to working with Wells, Rivera has previously collaborated with Marcos Witt and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
Rivera’s nine-track album, “Sé Fuerte,” was recently nominated for Spanish Language Album of the Year ahead of the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards. The nod marks her second career nomination. Meanwhile, Wells is set to host this year’s Dove Awards ceremony for the second consecutive year.
