Maggie Bahou

Maggie Bahou was named chief people officer in November 2023. Bahou brings more than 27 years of experience in human resources, including prior experience as chief people officer for Tennessee-based PopHealthCare, a GuideWell company, and Emcara Health. Previously, she spent six years as vice president of human resources at Compassus.

Maggie has also served in leadership positions with the State of Tennessee, New Hampshire Retirement System and National HealthCare Corporation, in addition to independent consulting roles. What has meant the most to her throughout her career has been the opportunity to invest her talents in the service of others, and to treat people well in even the most difficult situations.

She holds a master’s degree in organizational behavior from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in business from Tennessee Technological University.

Maggie has always been drawn to professions that are people focused. She brings that same passion to EMF as she helps our team members grow into the roles for which God created them.
