Bethany Davis joined EMF in 2023 as Senior Vice President of Communications. With more than 20 years of experience in communications and marketing, Bethany has held roles in media, agency and corporate environments. Prior to joining EMF, Bethany served as Senior Director of Corporate Communications for CoreCivic, a publicly traded company providing criminal justice solutions with a focus on vocational, reentry and faith-based programming. In this role, she oversaw internal and external communications, community partnerships and advertising. In addition, she launched the company’s in-house, 501(c)(3) charitable foundation and served as its Executive Director for six of her nine years with the company.


Prior to joining CoreCivic, Bethany spent more than a decade in public relations and broadcast media, including a stint as producer for the highest-rated local morning show in the country at WTVF-TV CBS, Nashville.


Bethany holds a master’s degree in business administration from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, and a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. In 2016, she earned a digital marketing certificate from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management.
