Yes, Addison Road's RV caught fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

But you wanna know what's weird?

Rewind back to September 24, 2009 (6 months ago), when the band blogged this before a tour with Sanctus Real:

"On the way home from a show late Tuesday night we got in a wreck with an oak tree that had just fallen into the road due to some rain and storms. The oak tree won. The van is out of service for a minimum of 3 weeks..."

Rewind a few more months to March 15, 2009, before they went on the Rock & Worship Road Show. They blogged:

"...a couple of weeks ago, our van and trailer (and every piece of equipment we owned) were stolen. Two and a half moths earlier the same trailer was broken into and our gear stolen. So to have this happen twice within three months was a little overwhelming! I mean, seriously!"

The band is again going on tour with Sanctus Real. And after all this, now their RV caught fire.

They lost guitars, equipment, merchandise...

...and Lead singer Jenny, her hubby Ryan and their baby girl Anniston had all their clothes and baby toys in the RV--everything burned.

Here's the deal--they need the RV to continue their current tour with Sanctus Real. They're asking for their fans' and friends' help! Would you consider helping them out with a donation? Or an RV they could borrow?

Turns out that they're releasing "The First Three Gears", a compilation of the first three Relient K albums (200-2003) on April 20th.

Switchfoot may never record a new album again… at least not for 6 or so more albums!!

Recently, Switchfoot drummer, Chad Butler, divulged in an interview that there are an estimated 80-or-so songs that have yet to find a CD-like home. Some collections of songs already have a title!!

The next album, tentatively called Vice Verses, hasn’t been given a street date yet, but will presumably feature 12 to 16 of those phantom tracks on it.

Another hinted project is being called the Eastern Hymns for Western Shores EP. This project was actually recorded before Hello Hurricane, and might even see the light of day by the end of this year.

This past weekend there was a benefit concert to help continue Haiti relief efforts. The Switchfoot & Hannah Montana goodies are just two on a list of amazing items that are being auctioned off!

Hey Everyone,

Well we just finished the first full production, headlining tour of our career and it was a great success. Thanks to everyone that made it out to the tour and supported the bands. WE WILL BE DOING IT AGAIN!!!

We love our fans and because we do so much, we will continue to hang after shows, send you special notes and packages,  have acoustic experiences on tour, etc. Bottom line, we truly appreciate what you guys have done for us and we will always write music that inspires you with all that you have going on. We are with all of you everyday.

So what's coming up??? Well this week we shoot a music video in Nashville for our new single "Ordinary World". We are excited about this one and we will be doing something different that you wouldn't expect from RED. It will premiere before the end of March.

After that we are catching back up with our pals in Breaking Benjamin. We haven't toured with them in a long time and we are eager to do so. We are also looking forward to seeing our friends in Thousand Foot Krutch and maybe making some more friends as we go. Nonetheless it will be a great time and a killer show. 

SOON...we will announce our plans for April and May and let me tell you that this tour has been in the making for over a year, and long overdue...BUT its on, and will be going down starting
