Associate News Producer - Entry Level

We currently have an opening for an Associate News Producer to assist with editing & preparing K-LOVE and Air 1 branded news & public affairs assignments in a timely, fresh & professional manner.  In addition, this position performs Newsroom administration to include, but not limited to, administration of News pages on respective websites and completion of other Newsroom assignments.

Shift Hours:

Overnight - 7pm - 4am, Sunday - Thursday

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Broadcasting, Journalism or equivalent
• 1 – 3 years in the Broadcast Industry and/or training.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively write and deliver on-air self generated copy for public affairs programming and news segments.
• Demonstrated ability to research public affairs assignment topics, conduct interviews, and assemble into program segments.
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to keep pace in an ever changing news environment.
• Strong computer skills; and other desktop audio editors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build trust and value others; communicate effectively; focus on the listener; and collaborate with others.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively.
• High level of integrity.
• Internal EMF applicants will be given first consideration.
• Candidates local to the Rocklin / Sacramento area are preferred.

Part-Time Board Operator

Do you enjoy listening to music?  If so, this position is for you!

EMF Broadcasting (K-LOVE & Air 1 radio networks) has an immediate need for a responsible, reliable, Part-Time Board Operator in our Rocklin, CA headquarters.

Part time hours vary but may include:

Saturday & Sunday with possible on call weekday & overnight shifts.       May involve work on holidays.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

• Knowledge of equipment used for electronic audio or production of on-air material is helpful, but training is available for candidates who are conscientious & enthusiastic.
• Good communication skills are important. 
• MUST be responsible & reliable and able to work independantly.
• Must have working knowledge of computers and be task oriented.  Radio or production background is a plus.
• Candidates must be able to work weekends & holidays.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

The Board Operator is responsible for maintaining quality on air levels and flow of programs as well as reacting efficiently in case of automation failure.

Receptionist

EMF Broadcasting  - K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks has an immediate need for Full Time Receptionists in our Rocklin, CA headquarters.

Shift Hours: 

Sun - Thurs 2 - 10:30pm

Job Duties:

• Answering incoming calls for EMF, K-LOVE & Air1.
• Listening to callers and determining the appropriate way to assist them.
• Special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Receptionist working with multi-line telephone systems and working in a medium to fast paced call environment. 
• Solid computer experience - Microsoft Office and Internet experience background a must. 
• This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of EMF.

Receptionist - On Call

EMF Broadcasting (K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks) has an immediate need for an On Call Receptionist for our Rocklin, CA headquarters.

We are looking for positive, outgoing people with a heart for ministry to interact with our listeners, provide excellent customer service, and perform activities geared toward strengthening the relationship between EMF and our listeners.  Willing to assist other departments with additional special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned.  Willing to work flexible hours including holidays & weekends.

Required Experience:

• Prior experience answering multi-line telephone systems and working in a medium to fast paced call environment. 
• Microsoft Office and Internet experience background a must. 
• This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Respond to incoming calls promptly and in a  professional yet welcoming manner.
• Provide accurate information or route call appropriately.
• Ability to research & locate information for difficult inquiries.

Regional Manager - Albany, NY

We currently have an immediate opening for a Regional Manager to work in the Albany, NY area. This position is responsible for marketing, promotions, operations and donor relations for the New York EMF properties (K-LOVE & Air 1 radio networks).

Qualified candidates will have the following experience:

• Qualified candidates should have a degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Qualified candidates will also have a background in radio marketing, promotions, or sales.
• Strong relationship building skills required.
• The right candidate for this position must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and highly organized.
• Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Candidates local to the Albany area are preferred.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

The primary responsibility of this regionally-based position is the oversight of an assigned territory. A Regional Manager will primarily handle Operations/FCC duties, marketing, promotions and donor relations on a local level for EMF. Regional Staff, assigned geographically, will report directly to the designated Senior Regional Manager for their part of the country. 25% travel is required.
